I'm a House Engineer / Assistant Engineer for
Westlake Recording Studios. I work with professional artist in all musical genres.
I worked as the Pro Tools Technician for Westlake Recording Studios, where I managed all computers, Pro Tools systems, and hardware. Also, on a daily basis, calabrate and maintain our Neve VR, SSL 9000J, SSL 4000G, and SSL AWS 900 consoles.
I graduated from California Institute of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Multi-Focused Music Technologies. I also specalize in Electonics, Synthesis, Progaming, and Robotic Design
As the Lead Audio Engineer for the Roy O. Disney Music Hall, I managed a crew that produced and recorded everything from orchestras and jazz bands to advanced multi-media concerts and rock bands.
I worked as a recording engineer at REDCAT in Los Angeles, for "AH!" (Interactive Opera), The Scream Festival: Machine Orchestra, and mixed "Front of House" for David Rosenboom's "Of Volcanoes and Rocks," Featuring Sardono W. Kusumo. While interning as an audio engineer at HUM (post production house), I edited audio for comercials and samples in various programs such as; Protools, Peak, ReCycle, etc.
Tammy is a robot designed for musical performance. The designers engineered each distinctive instrument on Tammy, including the hand-crafted marimba, drone string, and bells. Built using recycled objects found in the APEX junk yard and classrooms at California Institute of the Arts, Tammy stands six feet tall with 14 actuators (and counting!)
